Nuns of the New York Archdiocese protest against injustices in Selma, Alabama

Throughout America, persons of conscience continued to bear witness to the struggle in Selma. In Harlem on March 14, 1965, nuns of the New York Archdiocese took to Seventh Avenue, a main thoroughfare, to protest against injustices in the Alabama city. About 100,000 protesters joined them in their Sunday demonstration.
