After Meredith is shot while attempting his 220-mile "March Against Fear," King, McKissick and Carmichael travel to Memphis, Tennessee and visit with Meredith in the hospital. After a brief conference, it is decided that the march will continue with the combined support of CORE, SNCC, and SCLC.
