Dean Charles E. Batten
Crozer Theological Seminary
Chester, Pa.

Dear Dean Batten,

After checking my communications from Boston University I find that it will be necessary for me to file a certificate of my B.D. degree. The letter states that this certificate is necessary for the completion of their record. I will appreciate it very much if you will send this certificate to Boston University. It will be addressed to Dean Chester M. Alter, Boston University Graduate School, 725 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston 15, Mass.

I trust that all goes well with you and the Seminary. Please give my regards to all my friends on the campus.

Thanks for the fine write-up that you sent my Mother about me. It appeared in our local newspaper and was highly appreciated. I remain

Sincerely yours,
