Liberation Curriculum staff members presented at the 2008 OAH Conference in New York City
April 29, 2008

Liberation Curriculum staff members and participating teacher, Emily Burton, presented the King Digital History Project at the 2008 Organization of American Historians (OAH) conference in New York City. LC's most recent teaching unit, ¡Human Rights: By Any Means Necessary,' is featured in the April 2008 OAH's Magazine of History. The unit explores how the African American freedom movement represents one of the greatest human rights struggles of our time. By teaching through this framework, it informs and inspires students to continue this important work. To access the teaching unit, click here
